This is a draft cheat sheet. It is a work in progress and is not finished yet.

Wirless Security

WEP
Wired Equivalent Privacy. It was implem­ented in 1999 and started with 64-bit encrpytion and was later updated to 128-bit. It is easily hackable so a new solution had to be made.
WPA
Wi-Fi Protected Access. Was implem­ented in 2003. It has 256-bit encryp­tion. WPA is mostly attacked over WPS to get access.
WPA2
Was implem­ented in 2006. It uses AES algorithms to secure it. Nowadays a modern computer takes anywhere from 2-14 hours to crack a password. WPS should be disabled on a router is possible to prevent such an attack.

SNMP

SNMP Config­uration
Simple Network Management Protocol is an Internet Standard protocol for collecting and organizing inform­ation about managed devices on IP networks and for modifying that inform­ation to change device behavior.
Go to the management tab -> snmp -> trap reveivers -> new -> and enter the ip and its name -> press apply
 

Configure

Configure DHCP Scope:
Create a new Scope -> enter its name an config details -> press apply -> click on its name and put status on enabled

WPA2

WPA2 Enterprise Config­ura­tion:
Create a new WLAN or edit an existing one -> to to security tab -> select under layer2 security wpa+wpa2 and under key management 802.1X -> under AAA Servers select its ip
